Greetings Beloved Fellow Travelers!
Every year I give a “forecast” of the year ahead, and sometimes a little bit further. And normally I give this talk on or around the Winter Solstice, but this year was different. In the weeks prior to the Solstice I was preparing to go deep in to my winter cave (so to speak), for personal guidance, and global healing. As timing is everything, New Years Eve was to be the perfect moment for this talk.
To prepare for gatherings where I’ll be speaking, I meditate, walk, and go very quiet to listen deeply. This year I also visited a few trusted sites to hear what other astrologers, and psychics are picking up on. And the general consensus is that 2024 is going to be a difficult year. But that is not the message I was asked to share. I was pointed in a different direction…one of great news!
Numeric symbols cast a unique energy that impacts us on both external and internal levels. 2024 is an “8” year (2+0+2+4=8) In numerology, the eight indicates, hard work and a strong drive for success. It’s a symbol of balance. The eight turned on its side, looks like the Infinity Symbol, which is in constant motion and perfect balance. This balance makes us feel stable, supported and in control. When it comes to balance, we must include Karma or the first law of physics.
Karma realizes that success doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It balances achievement with gratitude, which will re-balance with more achievement. It’s a cycle that loops back on itself. Eights are continuously manifesting! For this exchange to happen, we must be in community. We need others to support our business, so we can provide more support to them! It’s a cycle. When we give back to community, we invite it to return our own energy back to us! Giving in order to receive, does not bring you the same results. We don’t have to force anything, just giving unconditionally brings its own reward.
This is the most beautiful form of reciprocity. We don’t do for others because we will get something back…we do it because we are all one people. Our cosmic family sees us a one race, one people, and they wish we would see us this way too.
The old idea of survival of the fittest is circling the drain with the Old World. Power over another is on its way out, at the same time empowering others is coming in The more generous we are with the world, the more generous it will be with us. It can be no other way. The Universal Law of Reciprocity will become more clear to you in the coming years.
If you live only for yourself, or only for what you can get out of life, your job, or your relationships, you won’t find much success or happiness in the future. That is a life based on fear…fear that there is not enough.
If, on the other hand you live to help others, you will have everything you need to thrive and be successful. This is a life based on love.
In Tarot, the number eight represents STRENGTH. We will see this play out in a variety of ways. Remember, true strength comes from love…a bullies strength comes from fear. True strength will help us in the years to come as we herald in our New Earth.
Keep this in your mind as you make your resolutions, and set your creations in to MOTION. With every breathe you take, every thought you have, and every word you speak, YOU STEER YOUR SHIP (or, direct your life). You will either steer toward your happiness, or steer yourself away.
You are as happy as you ALLOW yourself to be. You are as successful, healthy, and useful as you allow yourself to be.
As we set our intentions for the new year, keep in mind that no matter what the talking heads predict…YOU CREATE YOUR OWN REALITY!
With another election year ahead, do your best to be in the world and not of the world. Allow the Old World to play itself out. Look to all the good that is happening instead of what looks wrong. What ever we place our attention on expands…so place your attention on what you want…instead of what you don’t want.
Use your power to create something beautiful.
